Charlie is a very cute 4 month old Cavachon. He recently presented to us with vomiting and diarrhoea, he was very sleepy and not himself at all.
Although Charlie was a little tender on examination of his abdomen, there wasn’t any evidence of foreign material or a blockage, therefore he was hospitalised and treated for gastro-enteritis. He was initiated on intravenous fluid therapy and anti-biotics. By the very next day he had stopped being sick but still remained quite sleepy, he was now more comfortable within his tummy and so was offered some bland food. Our nurses continued to provide 24 hour nursing care with his iv fluids and administering his prescribed medications.
By 48hours later Charlie was back to being a normal puppy! He was switched to oral medications and discharged home to his owners.
We are pleased to report he made a full recovery. As you can see he enjoyed lots of cuddles and attention during his stay, particularly from RVN, Rachel 💚

I would like to thank the vet Bruce McLeary, and all the nurses at Meopham vets for all their quick and caring response, to my bitch Misty who had an emergency caesarian today and looked after my bitch and her pups fantastically thank you to you all

Ms Sankey

To all pet owners looking for the very best in vet advice and care then book your pet in here, we have used The Swanscombe & Meopham Surgeries since 2006 after re-homing our Sophie from Cats Protection & the rest of her life was never free from health problems. When Sophie had to stay in at the vets I visited her daily & the cages were spotless, clean blankets & nurses on continual attendance. We can't say enough about all the staff, they treated her like a part of their family.

Thank you to all at Meopham Veterinary Hospital for looking after Ted & Hector as well as if they were your own puppies. I always know that they will get the best care, and am sure Ted would not be here at all if it weren't for you guys. Ted & Hector are the light of our lives, so your exemplary care of them is, to us, priceless. Thank you.

The Robinson family

Great skills, great care, great service and understanding.

I have been a client, with my various dogs, since 1999 and can honestly say that I have been totally satisfied with Meopham Vets throughout this time. The care and consideration shown to our dogs has been amazing. I usually try to see Martin as I have known him so long, but I have no objection to seeing any of the vets as they all have the same qualities, especially Bruce. The nurses are all wonderful and over the years I have become close to some of them and have watched as they have developed their careers under the guidance of Martin. The reception / office staff are brilliant too and I have never had a problem getting appointments. The out of hours service is second to none. My dogs throughout their lives have been looked after and loved by all the staff and when it has come to the final goodbyes they and I have been treated with amazing sensitivity and kindness. In a nutshell, I could not recommend this practice highly enough.

A big thank you for looking after our pets over the years, all 22 of them! We think you can all perform miracles. In sad times the impossible cannot always we done but you have all given us the strength and helped us to cope once again. Thank you all.

Mrs Kinch

Freddie has completed 10 hydrotherapy sessions following TPLO surgery to repair his ruptured cruciate ligament. Freddie is now back to his normal self and has regained his strength which exceeded all our expectations. He has suffered with bad skin for years and we were worried that the sessions would have a detrimental effect however his skin has never been better! He now enjoys coming into the vets and he adores hydrotherapist Amy! We are thrilled with his progress and would thoroughly recommend hydrotherapy to others.

Mrs Cooper

Thank you all on behalf of ESSW for the wonderful care and superb treatment that Eesha has received over the last weeks. She is such a lovely girl and truly deserved every bit of it!
